Digital X-Rays
X-rays are an important part of orthodontic treatment planning, giving Dr. Feinstein a complete picture of your teeth and supporting structures. We use advanced digital X-ray technology to achieve precise, high-quality images that will give us a comprehensive understanding of your needs and allow our orthodontist to plan and carry out more effective orthodontic treatments. We use only ultra-low dose radiographic imaging to ensure your health and safety.
iTero Digital Scanning & Impressions
iTero digital scanning is the gold standard for intraoral scanning, quickly and comfortably producing the most detailed 3D images of any scanner today. iTero scanning involves the use of a small wand which is passed over your teeth. The scan can be stopped and started as needed, and the pictures are automatically saved to prevent the need for a second scan. This device captures up to 20 images per second in full color to create an accurate digital model of your mouth, without the hassle of dental molds. This impression is then used to create aligners and appliances that fit more comfortably and provide more effective tooth movement.
